TWO NEW COACHES JOIN NEW VISION BADMINTON SPORT

New Vision Badminton Sport (NVBS), a premier badminton coaching facility, has recruited two new coaches while embarking on an expansion drive to promote badminton in Qatar, officials of the NVBS informed yesterday. Both the coaches, Aditya Nair and Bichu Sureshkumar have been coaching in India before taking up the Qatar assignment.

Nair, began his coaching career under Sanave Thomas and worked along with Olympian Nikhil Kanetkar. Sureshkumar, during his playing career, trained under coach Sanave Thomas and thereafter worked under the same coach to get his basic lessons in coaching. With the new additions, the strength of the coaches at NVBS has risen to six.

New Vision Badminton Sport has been providing professional-level badminton training for young players in Qatar for the last two years. The coaching staff is led by experienced Manoj Sahibjan, a former India international and a qualified coach who has 22 years of experience behind him having trained players in India, Maldives, and Qatar.

“The training methods are unique and New Vision Badminton Sport’s endeavor has been to improve the standards of its players and we have ensured that the players are provided excellent requisite facilities to lift their game and compete at the international level,” said Sahibjan. “The aim of NVBS is to have qualified and energetic trainers as part of the team. The new additions will add quality value to NVBS,” he added.

“Many of our students trained and groomed by us have been able to achieve high standings at international levels and we have won the trusted of many parents in Qatar,” added the experienced coach.

Besides, Manoj, the other coach is Kesit Sutrisno. He first trained under world-renowned coach Hangian, and thereafter moved out of his home country Indonesia to coach players in India and is now training players at NVBS. He worked as a coach in Malaysia and successfully trained them to make it to be international players. Two other coaches are Ameerjan Ashif and Ameerjan Arif, who have been coaching in Qatar for the last four and three years respectively.

NVBS is a badminton training academy for kids and adults located in Doha, Qatar with multiple training locations. It was founded in 2016 by Manoj Sahibjan, a national and international, and BWF-certified coach with many achievements, and Banazir Manoj who strongly believes in “LOVE ALL” which transformed as the tagline for NVBS and coincidentally is the call to action prior to starting a badminton game meaning 0-0. Inspired by what Banazir believes, Manoj Sahibjan decided to include Banazir’s face outline supplely in the NVBS logo. Together, they continue to manage NVBS to promote badminton providing a platform for students/players to champion the sport in Qatar and beyond.
